Stones

  1. Despite careful sorting, it may happen that there are stones in the shipment that are missing a piece or are not completely intact; however, you can still use these stones for masonry, and this will lead to a beautiful result.

  2. Despite careful chipping, it may happen that there are stones in the shipment that still have some residue of lime on them.

  3. Despite careful sorting, it may happen that there are stones in a shipment that have soot formation.

  4. Despite careful counting, it may happen that the shipment deviates slightly from the actual purchased quantity; this can be either positive or negative, but it will never differ by more than 2% from the indicated number.

  5. The pallets, as shown in the photos, have been rinsed on the outside; this is to give an impression of how the stones look after being rinsed. In the middle of the pallet, the stones may be a bit dustier or dirtier. This can be easily removed with a pressure washer once they are laid.

  6. If stones are purchased unseen, van Dillen antique building materials is in no way liable for any unwanted issues in the shipment other than the agreed quantity. ‘Beautiful’ antiques is a subjective matter in which everyone’s taste differs; for this reason, we strongly recommend that you always come by first and view the material.

(Floor) Tiles

  1. Although we do our best to prevent this, it is possible that some tiles have been damaged during internal or external transport; there will never be many, and if this is the case, we will provide compensation in either financial or material form.

  2. The tiles are purchased as seen; if they ultimately do not fit your home or decor, we cannot be held liable for this.

  3. Despite careful cleaning of the tiles (unless otherwise stated), it may happen that some tiles still have traces of lime or another type of dirt on them.

  4. Due to dirt on the underside of the tiles, it is possible that the tiles become somewhat dirty again during the stacking and storage process. However, the tiles have been cleaned (unless otherwise stated) and may only need a small touch-up with a brush or pressure washer.

  5.
