Reviews of Van Dillen

We are very satisfied with Van Dillen's service. We saw two beautiful panel doors and had a few questions about their exact condition and dimensions. We got in touch easily and were helped well and kindly, even though it was actually after closing time. We ordered them straight away on Friday, and they were already here on Monday morning (The Hague). A week later, they contacted us again, which we thought was very considerate.

I sold my terracotta tiles to this company based abroad. Everything went perfectly smoothly. The purchase was made remotely, payment was made before delivery, and the carrier came on the agreed day. Very professional! I recommend them without reservation.

We bought antique stained-glass doors from Van Dillen. They have a wide selection, and although we came for a specific set, we were given plenty of time to look around and compare the other doors at our own pace. In the end, we chose our original selection after all. Excellent service, and we are incredibly happy with our doors!

Good service and beautiful materials A very good experience with Van Dillen Antieke Bouwmaterialen. Beautiful doors and other materials, and you are helped in a friendly and professional way. Definitely recommended if you are looking for something special or authentic.

A very good experience! Fast and efficient transaction. Responsive, serious, and trustworthy people. We were able to sell our old terracotta tiles easily and under very good conditions. Highly recommended!

Great and reliable company with good, clear communication!

We have placed several orders with Van Dillen, and every single experience has been outstanding. The team is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always responds quickly to any questions or requests. What impressed us the most was how smooth and reliable the international shipping to Germany was every time. The tiles are absolutely beautiful and look exactly like they do in the photos. The quality is exceptional, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Van Dillen and will definitely order from them again for future projects.

Good service and incredibly friendly staff. Happy with the product!

A few months ago I bought beautiful blue terracotta tiles. Unfortunately, I was about one square metre short. After sending one WhatsApp message, I had the tiles on my doorstep within a week, without having to pay an exorbitant price. Some companies could learn from that. Here, the customer is king, not only when buying 500 m² but also 1 m². Jesse, thank you.

A very good experience with Van Dillen. I sold my bricks to Van Dillen. Quick response, very good financial handling, and the collection was excellent too. The communication was also very positive.

I needed old yellow bricks for my home, and I found them! Great service and help finding the right bricks.

We bought French terracotta tiles from Van Dillen and are SUPER happy with them! The tiles look beautiful in our bedroom. They give it a truly authentic look and are easy to clean. Highly recommended!

We did business with Jesse Van Dillen, a Dutch entrepreneur. Communication was clear and prompt, the purchased materials were paid for in advance and collected by a Dutch carrier. A very friendly and recommendable customer.

Very quick, clear, and correct handling when purchasing en-suite doors. They keep their agreements, and everything is done in good faith.

Recently bought a beautiful batch of old facing bricks and terracotta floor tiles from Van Dillen. As a contractor, we do a lot of restoration and renovation work on old buildings and farmhouses. Finding a matching brick is always quite a search. The guys at Van Dillen helped us extremely well at the depot until we finally found the right brick. Smooth delivery to the site, and every brick was perfectly usable. Very little breakage in the pallets. We will definitely come back more often.

Hello, Van Dillen is a very serious buyer. I recommend them 👍👍👍 …

Top company! Good communication, and they keep their agreements.

He keeps his agreements and arranges everything properly, just as it should be. I am very satisfied. If I need more bricks or road plates, I will definitely come back.

Reliable company, an agreement is an agreement.

While looking for Groningen bricks and terracotta tiles, I came across Jesse. Thanks to his expertise, I have been able to convince many people from Groningen to buy Jesse's materials, especially for rebuilding and restoration after earthquake damage, including people from outside the province of Groningen. This has also led to a great relationship on both sides. He is therefore extremely valuable.

Honest seller, and everything was handled quickly and correctly!

Wonderful company, beautiful materials, and very friendly service. I have been here several times and will definitely come back when we need more terracotta tiles or floor tiles! Highly recommended!

We needed old yellow bricks for a path at the Hempenserpolder windmill. We received good advice and help choosing the right bricks. Good-quality bricks. If necessary, we will definitely return to this company.

Jesse, I would like to warmly thank you for your generosity. You helped me give shape to my creativity, both at home and in my lessons, and I am truly grateful to you for that. You inspire young people too. Your staff are also friendly and helpful. Thank you so much. Kind regards, Johanna

Excellent transaction with VDA Bouwmaterialen. Instant payment received two weeks before pickup, clear communication from start to finish. The batch of 5 pallets of floor tiles I had prepared was collected without any problem. The company also arranged the transport and had planned for a forklift, as I had indicated for loading the pallets. Everything was perfectly organized. I had some doubts at first because the company is based abroad, but everything proved serious, transparent and very professional.

Jesse delivers high quality reclaimed building bricks with integrity and professionalism. I live in Costa Rica and he went above and beyond to ensure I delivered my Brother, in Bolsward, Netherlands, a new beautiful back yard as a retirement gift. If you need a historical look for a new brick structure, Jesse is the best choice for top quality bricks and service!

Through my collaboration with Van Dillen antique building materials, I have already become familiar with many of his materials. He truly has an incredibly large range of bricks and floor tiles. I have already been able to admire several projects where these were used, and the result is beautiful every time. It gives a building so much atmosphere and character. Communication with Jesse is also always smooth and super friendly. So if you are looking for antique materials for a renovation or project: I definitely recommend VDA Bouwmaterialen! :-)

We demolished an old shed, releasing many old bricks. Van Dillen was interested in these bricks. Through perfect organization, the bricks went all the way from Limburg to Friesland. This was a very good and pleasant cooperation, and we look back on it very positively. We were amazed that such a young entrepreneur has brought this craft to such a beautiful product so expertly and passionately. Chapeau!

Correct price, very fast delivery and quick responses to questions. After delivery, the company contacted us to ask whether everything was satisfactory. Top company! Recommended.

Sold to Van Dillen: an old batch of masonry bricks found in a shed. Contact was very professional. Jesse made a good offer and even arranged big bags so we could prepare the bricks for shipping. Everything went pleasantly with Jesse. Questions were answered neatly, he was flexible in scheduling an appointment, and we were helped well with loading 2 pallets of floor tiles. He was also available afterwards for questions and advice. I can definitely recommend Jesse, an honest and good address!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Van Dillen Antieke Bouwmaterialen to anyone when it comes to purchasing your old materials. I had the pleasure of offering the bricks from our dilapidated farmhouse (dating from 1750-1800). From the first contact via WhatsApp, I had complete confidence in this company. After a quickly organized visit to the property and frequent contact via WhatsApp or phone, we reached an agreement. Containers were delivered neatly to me and were swapped very quickly by their carrier (Sandstra Transport, also great to work with!). Everything was truly organized and carried out from A to Z. So for me, Van Dillen Antieke Bouwmaterialen is the partner for selling your bricks and purchasing materials for your property.

After a long search we found beautiful matching floor tiles to enlarge our existing kitchen floor. Wide selection of old floor tiles and helpful staff who help and think along! Gert Jan, Haren

Picked out bricks together for two chimneys. Found the perfect bricks. His father delivered the bricks neatly. Value for money is very good. A young player in the market, but definitely an asset for Friesland.
