Dark brown smooth Groningen brick, 21 x 5

see description (ex. VAT)

• Size : 21 x 5
• Stock : 2.000 pieces subject to availability

The price of these bricks is €3.50 each excluding VAT. The price is high because the hard cement mortar historically used with these bricks makes them exceptionally difficult to clean. They were often used in the lower part of a facade. In response to repeated requests, we have taken the considerable time needed to clean a quantity for reuse.

Several batches and colour tones are available. The headers are often particularly dark, and the bricks were frequently laid in a header bond so that only these ends remained visible.

This is a dark, brown-toned variation of the smooth Groningen brick.

The price reflects both the scarcity of this rare brick and the work needed to prepare it for reuse. It is expensive, but customers who previously found it unavailable have often told us that they would rather pay more than be unable to buy it at all.
