These smooth red-orange Groningen bricks form a very large batch of reclaimed bricks measuring approximately 22 x 5.5 cm. Their smooth surface, relatively calm proportions and natural red-orange colour variation give the masonry a distinctive old Northern Dutch character without making the facade look too coarse. The bricks are carefully cleaned of old mortar and kept as intact as possible for reuse.

Within our collection of Groningen bricks, this is an interesting batch for both substantial restoration work and complete new facades. The large available quantity means the same selection can be used across a large area, which is particularly useful for larger homes, farmhouses, outbuildings and project-based construction.

This batch also includes many usable headers. In bonds that use a significant proportion of headers, this can benefit both the appearance and material efficiency. For a cross bond, random bond or any other bond, please ask about the current ratio of whole bricks to headers.
