‘The Deer Hunt’: here is a new work of art in our collection that we are very proud of! You will almost certainly not find this anywhere else.

The complete tableau has the staggering dimensions of no less than 6.25 x 1.70 metres!

We are talking about a true work of art that was handmade, fired and painted around 80 years ago. It is a replica in colour of the famous 400-year-old tableau that can be admired in the Princessehof in Leeuwarden, which is the largest tableau in a Dutch public collection.

This one is even larger, and therefore particularly unique and not available anywhere else.

The tiles themselves are around 13 x 13 cm, and the complete tableau consists of 624 tiles.

What makes this tableau even more unique is that it has NEVER actually been installed and is therefore SPOTLESS AND IN NEW CONDITION!

It is extremely difficult to take good photos of such a large surface, which is why we have taken multiple photos to get the best possible view of the scene and the details.

Photos 8 to 15 show the entire scene from a closer perspective, spread over several photos in order!
