Driveway made from Groningen paving bricks in Heeg

For this beautiful project near Heeg, we supplied approximately 300 m² of reclaimed red Groningen paving bricks. These distinctive pavers were used to create an atmospheric driveway that complements the rural setting and authentic appearance of the grounds. Their warm red-orange colour variations give the paving a timeless character and make an immediate impression on arrival.

Reclaimed Groningen paving bricks are among the Netherlands’ most sought-after historic paving materials. Their hard-wearing quality, natural wear and subtle colour variations create a lively surface in which no two bricks are alike. These properties make Groningen pavers particularly suitable for driveways, yards, courtyards and other applications where appearance and durability go hand in hand.

The spacious driveway connects the home to the public road in a stylish way. Its authentic paving forms a harmonious whole with the rural buildings and surrounding greenery, making it appear as though it has long been part of the landscape. Reusing paving bricks also provides a sustainable solution with a long service life.
