These large-format Frisian yellow bricks are old handmade bricks, cleaned of mortar, with characteristic soft yellow-orange apple-blossom tones. Their size varies around 21–22 x 5 cm, giving a longer, calmer appearance than the familiar small Frisian yellow brick. Natural colour differences, light signs of use and traces of original lime create a lively facade with the immediate character of old masonry.

The batch is suitable for restoration and repairs, but is also widely used for extensions and new construction where an authentic appearance is desired. Anyone looking for Frisian yellow bricks, old yellow bricks or antique facade bricks will find this a recognisable Dutch format. The bricks have been cleaned of old mortar and are ready for reuse.

When size, colour and variation need to match existing masonry closely, send clear photographs and dimensions. We can then compare these bricks with other handmade bricks and yellow bricks in our broad stock of old masonry bricks. Small-format Frisian yellow bricks are also available for a finer facade pattern.

Their large size and warm colour make this batch particularly suitable for facades, garden walls, chimneys and other visible masonry where the material can form a distinct part of the architecture. Ask about the current batch size and delivery options for larger quantities.
