These large-format Frisian yellow bricks are old handmade bricks, cleaned of mortar, with characteristic soft yellow-orange apple-blossom tones. Their size varies around 21–22 x 5 cm, giving a longer, calmer appearance than the familiar small Frisian yellow brick. Natural colour differences, light signs of use and traces of original lime create a lively facade with the immediate character of old masonry.

The batch is suitable for restoration and repairs, but is also widely used for extensions and new construction where an authentic appearance is desired.
