Dark-toned French terracotta floor tiles

Antique French terracotta tiles in a characterful home

For this renovation, the client chose a floor made from original antique French terracotta floor tiles. The authentic tiles form a warm base for the home and create a timeless look that works perfectly in both classic and modern interiors.

Because of the natural variation in colour, texture and wear, every tile has its own character. Together they create a lively whole that simply cannot be matched with new materials. These subtle differences give the floor its authentic appearance.

The floor continues through several rooms, creating a calm and atmospheric unity. Combined with wooden beams, warm colours and natural materials, the antique French tiles come fully into their own.

Like all our antique floors, these French tiles come from existing buildings and were carefully selected for reuse. In this way, high-quality historic building materials receive a second life without losing quality or character.
