Glazed floor tiles in Weesp

For this atmospheric project in Weesp, we supplied a beautiful batch of antique traditional Dutch terracotta floor tiles (estrikken). The authentic floor tiles form the basis of a warm and characterful interior where historic building materials combine perfectly with contemporary comfort. Natural colour variations and artisanal character give the floor an immediately timeless appearance.

Antique Dutch floor tiles have been used for centuries in farmhouses, listed buildings and characterful homes. Subtle colour differences, centuries-old patina and authentic texture make every tile unique. These qualities make reclaimed floor tiles especially popular in rural interiors, kitchens, entrance halls and restoration projects centred on atmosphere and authenticity.

Here, the floor forms a harmonious whole with the home’s other materials and architectural details. Its warm appearance creates a calm foundation that gives the room additional character and will remain beautiful for years. The result looks as though the floor has always formed part of the home.

We are proud to have supplied the antique Dutch floor tiles for this project in Weesp. The finished result shows how authentic floor tiles contribute to a stylish and timeless interior in which history, craftsmanship and quality come together naturally.
