Huis Bergh Castle restoration with a mix of reclaimed floor tiles

For the restoration of Huis Bergh Castle, we supplied a special batch of antique Dutch floor tiles. This unique project uses a carefully composed mix of red Dutch terracotta floor tiles and antique grey reduction-fired floor tiles measuring approximately 21 to 22 cm.

The combination of warm terracotta tones and distinctive grey reduction-fired floor tiles creates a lively floor that perfectly complements the castle’s monumental character. Natural wear, centuries-old patina and subtle colour variations give the floor a character all its own, reinforcing the rich history of this special place.

We are proud to have contributed to the restoration of Huis Bergh Castle with this unique batch of antique Dutch floor tiles. It is a special project in which authentic materials and historic craftsmanship come together at one of the Netherlands’ most beautiful castle sites.
