These antique red Dutch floor tiles are genuine old terracotta tiles with a warm, naturally varied colour. They measure approximately 21 to 22 cm and range from soft red and orange to deeper terracotta shades. Their age, patina and small differences create a floor with much more life than a new, uniform tile.

The very large available batch makes these farmhouse tiles suitable for complete residential floors and larger projects that need one type of old tile throughout. They work beautifully in farmhouses and historic homes, as well as modern interiors where old terracotta adds warmth and contrast.

See our terracotta floor tiles for more red and French terracotta tiles, or compare the full collection of old floor tiles. Red tiles can also be mixed attractively with grey reduction-fired tiles, for example in a classic chequerboard pattern.

Old terracotta floor tiles work well with underfloor heating. For large areas, we recommend mixing tiles from several pallets so that colour differences and patina are evenly distributed across the floor. Ask about the current selection, thicknesses and available quantity.
