A beautiful home in the south of the Netherlands with exceptional attention to detail

For this exclusive new-build home in the southern Netherlands, we supplied a beautiful batch of reclaimed yellow handmade IJssel bricks. The bricks came from historic buildings and were carefully sorted by colour, creating a calm and balanced facade. The characteristic IJssel size of approximately 16 x 4 cm is perfectly suited to the home’s classical architecture.

What makes this project special is the wealth of authentic details incorporated into the design. Brick-on-edge courses, traditional arches and refined accents give the completely new home the appearance of a historic building. The masonry entrance gate uses the same batch of bricks, uniting the house and entrance in one coherent design.

We are proud to have contributed to this special project. It is a wonderful example of how carefully selected antique building materials, especially reclaimed bricks cleaned of old mortar, combine with craftsmanship and attention to detail to create a timeless appearance that will last for generations.
