Garden wall in Wergea

A dividing wall in a back garden in Wergea, built from antique red-orange handmade facing bricks. No fence can compete with this!

For this atmospheric project in Wergea, we supplied a beautiful batch of antique red-orange handmade facing bricks for a distinctive dividing wall in the back garden. Authentic materials and skilled masonry created a garden wall that is functional, forms a genuine focal point and perfectly complements the home’s rural appearance.

Antique handmade facing bricks feature warm red-orange colour variations, subtle traces of lime and an artisanal texture. Natural variation and characterful surfaces create lively masonry in which no two bricks are alike. These properties make reclaimed handmade bricks ideal for garden walls, boundary walls, planters and other masonry features around a home.

This project shows that a boundary wall can be an important part of the complete design. A masonry wall built with authentic facing bricks was chosen instead of a conventional fence, creating a durable, low-maintenance solution that will retain its character for years. Historic materials and traditional masonry give it a timeless appearance suited to its setting.

We are proud to have supplied the antique handmade facing bricks for this project in Wergea. The finished result shows how authentic materials and craftsmanship create a stylish garden wall with lasting character.
