Glazed floor tiles beneath a fireplace in Kampen

For this atmospheric project in Kampen, we supplied a beautiful batch of antique glazed traditional Dutch terracotta floor tiles, as well as another batch of authentic floor tiles, for the floor beneath a distinctive fireplace. Choosing authentic reclaimed floor tiles immediately creates a warm and timeless appearance that perfectly suits the home’s rural atmosphere.

These traditional Dutch terracotta floor tiles are distinguished by their artisanal production, natural wear and characteristic glaze. Subtle colour variations and the aged surface make every tile unique. These qualities have made antique floor tiles popular for centuries in living rooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds and restoration projects. Together with the robust fireplace, the reclaimed floor tiles create an inviting whole in which the authentic materials come fully into their own.

Antique floor tiles are chosen not only for their characterful appearance, but also for their sustainability. Reusing historic floor tiles gives high-quality materials a second life while preserving their authentic appearance. No two tiles are exactly alike, giving every floor a unique character.

We are proud to have supplied these antique glazed terracotta floor tiles for this beautiful project in Kampen. The finished result shows how authentic floor tiles and a characterful fireplace create a warm, stylish and timeless living space together.
